Victorian Guilloché Enamel & Diamond Belt Ring

The technique by which a jeweler creates a decorative (and usually repetitive) pattern on a metal surface and then coats it in translucent enamel is known as guilloché enamel. These pieces have the illusion of depth and texture but are smooth and even to the touch. Rendered gold in vibrant green guilloché enamel, this Victorian belt, or garter, ring features a diamond studded buckle.
