As most fans of Victorian jewelry are probably already aware, the snake, or serpent, is a symbol of eternal love. This mid Victorian snake brooch is fashioned in silver and rose gold with a turquoise set in its head and rose cut diamonds sparkling along the length of its body. The reverse side of the brooch features a hook from which the wearer can hand a locket or pendant. The snake's body is coiled in the shape of an infinity knot amplifying its message of enduring love.
