Love tokens were popular in the late 1800s. Names, dates, sentiments, images, city names: all were carved into coins to mark an important moment or person in one's life. This Victorian bracelet measures just over 7" and consists of 10 linked love tokens and a single pendant coin (judging by the drill holes there were two other dangling love tokens that are now missing) - each engraved with an elaborate monogram. The coins were minted between 1875 - 1883 with a single Canadian coin among the group of American Seated Liberty dimes.
