Victorian Pearl Horseshoe Ring

Likely converted from a stickpin into a ring, this late Victorian horseshoe is fashioned in 14k gold and set with a nonet of seed pearls. Note the asymmetrical points of the horseshoe - we think the style is called a lunette but would love confirmation/correction from any horse nerds who care to share!
