Victorian Snake Bangle

Over the past several millennia, the snake has been used to represent many things: both good and evil, as well as fertility, passion, and rebirth. The Victorians employed the image of the snake as a symbol of everlasting love. This beautiful snake bracelet is fashioned in 14k gold and dates to the later Victorian period. A simply rendered snake coils around the front of the bracelet. An ingenious concealed closure makes this close-fitting bangle appear completely seamless.
