This wonderful Victorian bracelet combines function and form to a tee. Fashioned in 14k gold, the coiled snake at the head of the bangle holds a removable pencil. The pencil telescopes out to a 3" length and has retained some of its original lead but is definitely due for a replacement. This bracelet would have been worn by a young Victorian debutante and used to record the names of her parters on her dance card.
