Victorian Wide Silver Chain with Ivy Locket


Necklaces such as this one were at the height of fashion toward the end of the Victorian era. Normally these were made in a collar length, this one is a bit longer measuring 17 1/2". The necklace features a wide, flat silver chain and an oversize locket decorated with a semi-abstract pattern on ivy leaves. The reverse side of the locket features full British hallmarks and the engraved initials "FF."
