Vintage Emerald and Diamond Stirrup Ring

$1,400.00
About Details
The shape or style of this mounting evolved in the Gothic period and is known as a "stirrup." Intended to evoke the shape of the equestrian equipment of the same name, the 13th-century versions are quite rare and frequently feature a sapphire cabochon in a rub-over setting. This vintage white gold take on the stirrup ring combines the traditional Medieval shape with a lovely emerald cabochon flanked by two sparkly round brilliant cut diamonds.
