WWI Trench Art Aluminum “Guerre” Anchor Signet Ring

$1,500

Sold!

This WWI trench art ring is crafted from aluminum, a material often salvaged from the battlefield. It's carved with an anchor—a classic symbol of hope and naval service. One shoulder is engraved with the word “Guerre” (French for war), while the other bears the years 1914–1916, marking the early, brutal stretch of the Great War. It was almost certainly hand-made by a soldier during downtime at the front or in recovery using scrap metal.
