Early 19th Century French Lyre-Shaped Diamond Pendants

$1,300

Sold!

These 1820's diamond clusters would make great friendship necklaces. I love how early 19th century jewelers put a gold "wash" (layer) on the backs of silver-set jewelry so your skin would be protected from irritation. So thoughtful. Of course clear diamonds wouldn't be set in gold; that would made them look yellow, and the other white metals (platinum, white gold) were still more or less 200 years away from being widely used. Sold separately; price is for one.
