Late Victorian Turquoise Horseshoe Mizpah Ring

Symbolism abounds in this ring. The horseshoe = good luck, the buckles = fidelity, the turquoise = friendship, and the word MIZPAH = intimacy during separation. Whew! The Victorians could really pack a lot of sentiment into a tiny object.
