Victorian “BAD/DAB” Monogram Heart Lock Necklace

$850

Sold!

The heart-shaped padlock clasp was exceedingly popular in the late 19th century and into the Edwardian era. This 9k gold heart is a classic example of the style, which was primarily used as a closure on sweetheart bracelets. The back side of the lock is engraved with an elaborate monogram (either BAD or DAB - either way pretty great). We’ve added a 16" gold chain to make this antique clasp into a wearable necklace.
