Serpents coil protectively around pear cut almandine garnets, each one holding a freshwater pearl in her mouth. The "everlasting love" theme continues with belt buckle bails holding the snakes to the chain, and a second chain swag adds....swag. This necklace would already have been a remarkable find, but it's still in its original green leather and velvet fitted box.
