Victorian Ruby-Eyed Snake & Malachite Necklace

$1,850

Sold!

A golden snake curls around and around a stripey malachite teardrop. In the 1870s, jeweled snakes often had this frog-like appearance, and I really don't know why. Cute though, right? Once this tiny serpent sat atop a stickpin, but he's been converted to a much more wearable pendant.
